we took our annual big bear trip (5th year... i think that counts as an "annual trip") with my fam to visit my aunt & uncle's beautiful cabin in big bear for a weekend of wakeboarding, puzzling, cowboy poetry-ing and eating. cowgirl Bonnie & cowboy Don are amazing hosts and so much fun to hang out with. I was a little disappointed that we were not woken by "circle of life" from the lion king (apparently we are too old.. and i think Paul appreciated being allowed to sleep in :).
