early retirement

After a long hiatus from blogging...i think i will now have the time to get back into it. Here is a quick update on major points at the reynard house in the past few months:

1. after 3 years with the ljbtc, i quit my job with no intention of finding a new one anytime soon

2. we aren't moving

that pretty much sums it up... right? ok so its not like i'm actually retiring... i have goals (see below) and this is the best solution we have come up with. i'm basically looking forward to "getting my life together" (whatever that means) and having the opportunity to do things i want to do.... and seeing what happens :)...and also de-stressing. that's the main goal. things i want to accomplish in my time off...not necessarily resolutions, just things i want to do

1. complete many projects around the house

2. take advantage of my time off during the day to hang out/ reconnect w/ friends...allowing me to be home on nights/ weekends to hang out with paul

3. and oh yeah.. have a baby

pretty simple... right?

we are hopeful that #3 will come sooner rather than later. but if there is anything we've learned over the past 3 years its patience.... and understanding that we are not in control, but the Lord is, and when he decides to bless us again with another baby, we will be so ready!

so happy 2010... here's to more blogging and doing what we like and seeing what happens (that never gets old :)
